Topic. I'm only writing this because my pen exploded and now I have green ink all over my hands. Not a major problem I confess, but still. . .

What bugs me? What are my pet peeves?

1. Tailgaters
2. People who chew with their mouths open.
3. Illiterate Role Players
4. Politicians
5. Politics
6. Anti-Gun fantatics
7. Static on the radio/phone/TV
8. Slanted/Corrupted/"Not telling the whole truth" Media
9. People who don't capitalize.
10. People who don't read.
11. People who drive faster than me on the freeway.
12. People who don't let me change lanes and sit in my blind spot.
13. Annoying people.
14. People who have too many pet peeves. ^_^

I'm really not as bad as it seems, promise. All those things do bug me, but only slightly. The only one that I freak out about is tailgaters and people who chew with their mouths open. ^_^

Mainly I am calm, but everything annoys me about peoples driving, I have BAD road rage, and here in Maine no one can drive (and I thought that it was bad in California!!) Also along with Sadina, people who chew with their mouths open is friggin disgusting, OH! and chewing gums like cows and the constant popping!!!! ARGH!!

10-4 on #s 2, 4, 6, and 11. Poor Media, my future career field is not well-liked.

I guess I could add the price of gas to the list. $3.20+ here on the east coast.

Working the graveyard shift (0000-0800) three times a week while taking a full coarse-load of 300-400 level classes.

Oh, and annoying people annoy me too :)

One thing I hate on an internet forum is when people write "would of" instead of would've. Something else is that stupid crazy frog. Why anyone would buy the single "sung" by that thing is beyond me. THere are a whole heap of things that annoy me but at the moment, those 2 stand out the most.

I'm with twinkle about "would of". It's would've or would have.

Other things that irritate me to no end:

1. "u" and "ur". It's "you" and "your". You only need to add two letters. It ain't that hard people.

2. Ignorant people. I don't mind stupid people. Stupid people can be educated. No matter how many times you try to educate an ignorant person, though, they never seem to get it.

3. When folks complain about how things aren't changing, but never try to do any work themselves to make changes.

4. The media.

5. racists.

6. Personal bias irritant here: I'm proud to be an American. But, I believe we're all citizens of the States we're born in as well. It drives me nuts when people don't want to acknowledge that and want to drop everything at the feet of the Federal Government.

7. The Federal Government. It's got far too much power (part of the problem being due to the previous annoyance)

8. The public education system.

9. Bible thumpers and hardcore athiests/evolutionists.

10. Having to edit my posts because I skipped "7" *lol*.

1. People who post on a messageboard, complaining about lack of interesting topics to discuss.

2. USE YOUR TURN SIGNAL PEOPLE!!!!!!!!

3. People who cuss for no better reason than it being cussing. (Don't get me wrong, I swear as well, but not every second word)

4. People who feel the need to cuss every other word on the INTERNET. cuss less. You can cut your typing at least in half.

5. What order sho .... *titch* I can't even finish typing it. :p

6. In the rescent past, people who go to an authors messageboard, though they have admitted to "not having read one of his books in years, because they all suck".

7. People who feel they have the RIGHT to post on a messageboard owned by someone else.

8. People who hate. It's fine to be annoyed at something, but blind hatred? Geez. I rescently got into an argument with someone on another board. Another member joined on the side of the person I was arguing against, saying "It doesn't matter what's going on, if you are on one side, I'll agree with the other side", or some such nonsense. Why? Because it was my name attached. Or myself and someone saying identical things, but people cuss and flame me (because it was me), but "understand where the other person is coming from". Grow up already.

To be honest, the flaming and name calling doesn't bother me (if it did, I would have quit and gone insane long ago). It's just the blind stupidity that is annoying. Fine, you don't like me. Whatever, but if your hatred for me is clouding your ability to think like a human being, then you've got to get some help for the anger, or something ...

Hmmm... this is off the cuff I may add more later.

1 - People who use internet 'lingo'. R U etc. Drives me nuts. I literally feel my brain slow down when I read that.

2 - People who toss around mental disorders as if they know what they are talking about.

3 - People who say "I read somewhere..." then go on to say something so stupid you want to slap them upside the head.

4 - People who complain about things yet make no effort to try and make that very thing better.

5 - Golf and bowling on TV... my god let me watch a wad of spit dry on the pavement first. Ugh!

6 - People who don't use their turn signals... my god give me SOME warning here before you try to add your rear end to the front end of my car. They were made seperate for a reason!

7 - People who walk down the middle of a hall... really slowly leaving you no room to walk past them. I have people to do and things to see, let me through!

8 - People who think they know everything, yet when you ask them something they say something like "You know I know that..." Then why the heck did I ask you?

5. utah's 30 mph every-time-all-the-time-regardless-of-what-the-actual-speed-limit-is drivers.
6. debators. the kind that turn everything into a debate. my best friend once made the comment "my boyfriend broke up with me and it was hard", and tim the highschool debate guy said "well that's all up to opinion and circumstance etc etc" and proceeded to argue everything she said about how much her breakup sucked. i swear a vein popped.
7. hypocrites. this is kindof a given

People who immigrate (I hate that word by the way, but it's the only one I can think of that conveys my annoyance) to the US from say.. Mexico, that don't bother themselves to learn our language. I know that if I was to go to another country, I would have the courtesy to learn its language. I moved to Korea a long time ago and by the time I moved there, I was able to have like a 5 minute conversation in Korean. And I was only like 8 years old! Come on. If an 8 year old can learn enough of a foreign language to have a 5 minute conversation in about 2 months, then the 36 year old Mexican that's been in America for the past 4 years should be able to tell me what freaking gas pump they're on! Take some time out of your busy lives and learn basic English. That's my main gripe really.

Oh and when Wyvie comes into chat for about 2 seconds and doesn't give me time to say hi. Or to tell her that she only lives 3 miles from me.... maybe that's why she doesn't stay very long....

Oooh oooh I just thought of another one. (Can you tell I've been drinking?) When someone is piercing your ear shall we say and when they're pulling the needle through, they just so happen to jab it into your neck! That hurt worst than the freaking piercing did!
Oh, and running out of cigarettes when I'm at work. I have a carton at home, I don't want to have to buy another pack to last me the rest of the night.

lol I've been a smoker for years. And years. And years.

Sure, I'll come get ya. He'll be doing a signing 2 nights in SLC. On November 1st, downtown, and November 2nd, at the Crossroads mall. Both at 7pm Most likely I'll be there on the 2nd, but I'm not sure what's going on on the 1st. Depends on my work schedule.

Some others came to mind this morning:

People who flush the toilet or start the washing machine when they know I'm in the shower.

Stores that don't take checks. Not everyone likes the credit/debit card ya know. But hey, EB's loss is Best Buy's gain.

People conversing in a language you don't understand, when they know you can't understand it. More often than not I feel they are talking about me, what with the pointing and laughing and all. . .

Store clerks talking with their pal on the phone when I'm ready to buy something.

$60 watches that break faster that $10 watches.

To add on to Beezer's: an entire high school click walking shoulder-to-shoulder down the hallway. and very slowly.

English professors as a whole? No, but I can certainly think of a few that grate my nerves.

Shrinkwrap. Nothing more needs to be said.

The standby timer on my TV. Five seconds?

I don't mind people cutting me off (b/c I do it to others, and I don't wish to be a hypocrite and aggravate Wyvie), but the people who cut you off and then proceed to slow down so that you have to slam on the breaks to avoid plastering their trunk, kinda pisses me off.

Finally. . . the fact that the price of gas dropped 30 cents and I feel as though I'm getting a steal.
