Well, not exactly. I made an account with Triond and just posted my first story! For those of you unfamiliar with Triond, it's a website that allows you submit anything you've written and they will then "publish" it to one of a number of sites they have based on the subject matter. You then will receive a small (very small) amount of money. You get half the revenue your page generates, which is something like a fraction of a cent per view. I just got a fantasy short story that I wrote three years ago and submitted it. My purpose in making this thread is two-fold:
A.) To shamelessly @@+!% it out, in the hopes a couple of you guys will click it, and perhaps even read it! http://authspot.com/thoughts/succession/
B.) For those of you who can take the time to read it, I'd love some feedback! How can I improve? This is the first step I've taken in pursuing what I guess is my only passion, and, while it is a BABY step if there ever was one, it's still a step. Obviously, it's a rather old story (written when I was 14), but it's a basic reflection of my abilities, I think.
