I read the Dragonlance Chronicles and now I'm on Dragons of the Highlord Skies, which by the way I am loving this series so far. I just have a question as
to the relation between this book and Dragons of Winter Night. In Highlord Skies, at the begining when Kit is speaking with Ariakas, they make it seem like the
battle hasn't started yet on Palanthas. In Winter Night however, if I remember correctly, it has. Sturm even died and it finished up in Spring Dawning. I
just want to be corrected if I am wrong or if I am understanding it wrong, please clarify. I'm reading the book, but this question is eating away at me.

It actually takes place between two of the books. Kind of a step back and fill in storyline.
