Last year, I had a big shadow overfly me on several occasions when running in the park. It turned out to be a big brown hawk, with massive wings. The squirrel, snake, and stray puppy population severely dropped last year. Apr 11 12 7:23 PM Buffalo Herder	Yeah, the fact that sometimes small dogs and cats are confused with natural prey for raptors is not smile inducing. Still the birds themselves are amazing to see. I love that I frequently see bald eagles out in the wild these days, back in elementary school they were a much rarer sight and so I still feel amazed when I do see one out in the real world instead of at a zoo or wildlife center. One of my pregnant sister in laws headed to the hospital about an hour ago, so I should be having a new nephew or niece in several hours.
