This is great news. I am about halfway through the 11th book now, and I have always wanted something like this to happen.

I'm happy to hear that Bendingsands my friend :) I'm actually re-reading book 1, lol :) The first WoT artworks will be revealed at the San Diego
Convention. Once I get back, I will be sure to post them here for your enjoyment :)

sweet! Yea I am going to have to reread the books myself. right now I barely know who any of the characters are lol. He brought characters back into later
books who I know are important, but I just can't remember where they came from. : ( I will take notes next time through.
I would also like to see this animated, particularly by the people who did Avatar The Last Airbender(I just watched the movie where everything comes to a head and ends and it was freaking amazing : ) ). I think the elements used in channeling could be used for a similar, yet still different feel. Plus, because of the length of the books they could probably make it 12 seasons long. I still can't get over how much I like that show. It's wierd : /. Edit: PS: I hope the graphic novel is nothing like the Drizzt ones after Sojourn(sp?). They look horrible : ). |

You wouldn't believe it but between Naruto and Gundam, I managed to start watching Avatar the Last Airbender as well. Finished up episode 1 and 2 last night, it's good stuff :) My brothers and I really wanted to adapt Drizzt Do'Urden :( |

I saw the thread back up at the top and thought, "YES! There's another update for the WoT comic!!" and got two pictures. I don't know the
process for getting things like this done so I guess I should be happy for two : ). The fade looks cool in its own way, but Rand looks puny. The art is not
serious enough for Wheel Of Time. It looks like it's geared towards very young people, which seems wrong because of the content within the books.

for the first time to read the novels :) Don't worry, we know that Rand isn't puny, he's a big boy, lol :)
