Q: What is the Crimson Shadow Trilogy?
A: Three novels set in yet another of RAS's worlds, this one named Eriador, the precursor to Corona. It follows the adventure of Luthien Bedwyr and a few of his companions as they attempt to defeat a slew of demonic wizards and their cyclopian army.
Q: What is, and where is, Eriador?
A: Like Corona, Eriador is another world created by RAS however this was one of his first attempts at world building that eventually led up to Corona. As for where it is, well it is its own world, however there have been rumors about RAS wanting to link Eriador to Corona somehow, but it hasn't happened.
Q: Is there a Crimson Shadow Trilogy omnibus?
A: Yes, though it is only being released in paperback.
Q: Are they any good?
A: Depends on who you ask, some people love them, and some hate them. Like all things, you should read them for yourself before judging them.
Q: Does RAS plan to write anymore for the setting?
A: Though the last book ended in a way that could easily lead to more books it doesn't appear that RAS will return to the setting, though there are rumors of other plans for it. Who knows what the future holds.
Q: So, is there going to be a movie?
A: We can only hope, though there hasn't be even so much as a whisper about a movie most believe that it would translate better than any of the other series onto the big screen.
