Well the events in next book, the pirate king (after the orc king), take place 100 or so years later. This means that most of the companions might be dead. but the way I am looking at it only Wulfgar might die. Here's why, ( correct me if im wrong)
Bruenor might still have 100 years in him. Hes a strong dwarf.
Cattie Bre is learning magic, if I recall correctly, Alustriel of silverymoon is 600ish years old. Maybe she teaches Cattie Bre how to live that long. And if you don't believe me, Jack the gnome said something about pissing Alustriel off a century ago. If so then how is she still so young?
Well… I am not sure about Regis. If half-lings have the same life span as dwarfs then he still might be alive like Bruenor and if not then he can also join the dead list.
And as for Wulfgar, I can see no way of him surviving.
Oh, and maybe Colson is an old grandma by now, or shes dead too.
