I'm new to the forum and I'm also new to the Drizzt phenomenon. This list has been a great help for me. I've already purchased every book and ss in
the list and I haven't even completed "Homeland" yet. I'm just curious about the [forthcoming Untitled Zaknafein & Jarlaxle project] that
you added to the timeline. Is there an article about it that I can read somewhere, or is it inside information that we don't know anything about yet?
Thanks and great work on this forum.

There is no information because it currently does not exist as a real project.

detail or color into it before it just becomes a mess. But if it has helped you, then I'm glad. I've already purchased every book and ss in the list and I haven't even completed "Homeland" yet.Wow! That's a big chunk o'change! Twenty years of writing all in one fell swoop--I guess we can call you one committed fan. Thanks and great work on this forum.I am not aware of any dedicated interview on this subject. Rather, RAS has just sort dropped little side-comments in various interviews here and there over the last couple of years. He's a sly devil like that. I'm also thinking that a Jarlaxle/Zaknafein story set way in the past might be fun. (<Chat Log: Sony Online Entertainment and R.A. Salvatore on EverQuest: Lost Dungeons of Norrath>) I'm hoping to write a book about Jarlaxle way in the past . . . Lavender Eyes: I've heard rumours you are considering writing a prequel about Zaknafein and Jarlaxle, set before the events of The Dark Elf trilogy. Is there any truth to these rumours?etc., etc. Always remember to duck yer head and lift yer axe!

Thanks for all the info. You're a pretty big wealth of information. It was a pretty big chunk of change, but I'm sure it'll be worth it. (All
hardcovers, collector's editions when available including The Cleric Quintet (not cheap!). I know it's not Drizzt, but if it's on the list I want
it. Anyway, I knew before reading a page that I'd enjoy it, so for the next few months I'm going to sit back and enjoy my time with The Drow.
Once again, thanks for the great info, and I know who I'll be coming to if I have any questions in the future. |

Can it POSSIBLY get any bigger? May have to do some brain surgery to release some of the swelling before it cause permanent damage... if it hasn't already
been done. :-)

Corrected date for Resurrection.
EDIT 1: - Added intoductory paragraph. - Moved "DR" explanation from the "Guenhwyvar" entry to a new "Note" section. - Entered more specific dates for "The First Notch" and Homeland, and then added explanatory notes. EDIT 2: - Fine-tuned notes on "TFN" and "Hom.". EDIT 3: - Added lots of spoiler notes to various works, explaining my distinctive chronological placement of each work and any variance from the official WOTC timeline.

Spoiler Warning
I don't know how to do the little [+] thing, so if you haven't read the "Bones and Stones" short story yet, don't read this. Quick note on "Bones and Stones" short story timeline. After reading it my best guess is as follows. This had to take place some time during The Two Swords. Most likely it took place shortly after the breakout from the eastern gate. The only other possibility would seem to be between the closing of the gate in Keeper's Dale and the eastern breakout, but that would have involved Pwent sneaking out through one of the furnace chimneys. Somehow I just don't see that happening. However, Pwent is hoping that his fellow gutbuster's eyes haven't been taken by the crows yet and that the bodies weren't too heavily decomposed (lovely picture herem, right). That pretty much rules out waiting until late winter. Although WOTC places it during 1370, my best guess would be early to mid autumn 1371. Other than that, the timeline's awesome. Just my two cents. |

Servant of the Shard can't be so close to ROTP.
In the book, Entreri says that he and Jarlaxle have been together for many years. |
