What do all of you think about the orcs on the covers of the Hunter's Blades trilogy? I for one don't really view orcs that way. I mean come on, they look like monkies with tusks on those covers. They are supposed to look orcine, which means pig-related, but I think they took it too far. I always think that orcs look a lot like the ones in the LOTR movies, except just a little less human looking, like with more facial hare, tusks (not on all of them), and more of a pig-like nose.

Yep, that's how I always thought of them, except the color, I think that they're actually shades of gray and maybe some black ones.

there was a picture of an example of the orc race in the ad&d 2nd edition monstrous manual that perfectly resembled my idea of an orc. long limbs, muscled
but not huge, rather lanky. the face with tusks and a unhuman face. I have the book at my parents place and cant find it online at the moment but I will keep
looking
