Ah the new Puscifer is pretty weak. V for Vagina was a great album overall, but after that, he's been pretty much phoning it in. What with a winery to run, and all, and yes there's to be some new APC in the coming year, not much mention of the new Tool album, however they're contracted for at least one more.

And IZ, I disagree, well, at least as much as I've never seen Mastodon live, though I've watched lots of videos. For the most part I prefer the album stuff, especially when Brent ruined his voice for a year or so. Its finally come back to normal, but for a while there, eesh.

I also just stumbled upon a pretty awesome instrumental band called Pelican. Rawsome.

Furthermore, Grimm, Alestorm is hilarious! Wenches & Mead is a great song. But if you want a bit more of a taste of Pirate Metal, check out Swashbuckle, or the originators of the genre, Running Wild. They're all pretty funny, it's not exactly the most serious of metal subgenres, ahaha.
