Fun vs. Competence in Games

So, on the weekend i got to play some golf with my mates and we finished the evening with some playstation. To cut the story short, we all sucked at both golf and most PS games. But damn we had some fun (of course i acknowledge the beer helped with that somewhat, but thats besides the point). I think that if we were too good at something, or one of us were superior, then we would not have had as much fun.

So, what do you think? Do you have more fun in any 'game' if the general...

Messy Workspace

I have been accused of neatness. People assume that because your workspace is neat you are not doing any work. I think this is stupid. lol

So, in this context, does a messy workspace have a strong correlation to productivity?

A friend of mine was watching one of those end of the world movies and I was thinking about it for a bit and asked him if it's wrong to be ok with the world ending, or is that too much like thinking about suicide? Anyways, I thought it would be an interesting discussion but didn't really care to deal with it in general.

Just for the record, my mental health is fine, I don't think about suicide, so don't be calling any white coats to take me away (for that reason...

Should the board mods be more understanding of the political ramblings on this board? I find them to be quite refreshing and a good way to get your frustrations out in the open about things that bother you. It is also a good way to understand others opinions on what is happening in the world....and lets face it, we can't have every thread about how we hate Catti, or the location of Burenors eye, or the countless "vs" threads.
