Torchlight

I just heard about this today and I must say, I am rather surprised about that. Torchlight is a Diablo clone and I say that in the best possible manner because unlike other Diablo clones, this one is actually good. Hell, aside from a lack of overall story and cartoony graphics, this is very, very similar to the Diablos. You can see a video of it here. There is a demo

Is anyone else wasting time away over at <sporcle.com>? It's a rather fun site, I have to say, but I'm running out of quizzes to take. I think BEAST should make some Salvatore-centric quizzes for us :-)

I'm sure this has been discussed ad naseum here, but I think it would be awesome to see everyone's favorite (good) drow have a long series of video games patterned after the books. Everyone fantasizes about a movie being made, but I prefer an insanely detailed, almost free-roam type game made for PC and consoles.

If I was in charge of developing the game I would make sure without question that the game engine employed would be the same one used in Assassin's...

Yes this movie has been confirmed. Blizzard and Legendary pictures have selected Sam Raimi, director of spider-man to direct a live action WoW movie, rumored for a 2012 release hence spider-man 4 is slated for a 2011 release.

What are you thoughts on this? My thoughts are that I HOPE IT IS GOOD. It would be a shame to make this movie into a crap fest. I honestly didn't like spider-man 3 (for obvious reasons ) and I hope Sam...

Starcraft 2, Diablo 3 and Guild Wars 2.

I've been waiting forever for Starcraft 2 and finally it's coming! I just read recently it was pushed back until the first half of 2010 though. Heh, not surprised, saw it coming anyways!

Dark Sun was by far my favorite setting growing up (and the old Dark Sun video games I loved).

I don't play PnP any more but I hope this means that sometime in the near future we might get a balder gate style game in Dark Sun.

How do you think Anderson "Spider" Silva will fair going up against a top light heavyweight in Forest Griffin? Silva is great and dominates the middle weight division but I'm not so sure how well he will do against the former LH champ. It should be a great fight either way but i'm leaning towards Griffin winning when they fight next month..
